The PlayStation4, often referred to as the PS4 by fans of the PlayStation legacy, is currently under development by Sony and rumored to have some mind-blowing new features.  Until the PlayStation 4 is released this website covers the latest news, rumors, and excitement surrounding the launch of the PS4.

The PS4 is rumored to have a number of exciting new features. First on the list although it will come with a controller, no control will be needed.  Sensors at the side of the room will recognize when the player moves his or her body, so that the player can use his or her body to control the on screen movements of players. Of course, the PS4 will also have outstanding high-definition graphics, full use of surround sound systems, and life like detail in all aspects of graphic and sound.

By making the controller option for games, game designers are giving PS4 players a new freedom to control the games with lifelike gestures.  For example, players can fly a plain by stretching out their arms as wings and moving around. Players can actually do Karate kicks and moves on the floors when they are fighting other players online, instead of just wiggling their thumbs and fingers on a controller. The whole goal of this new controller style is to immerse  players into the game, make the game more lifelike, and bring a whole new sense of realism to Sony PlayStation4 gaming.

Like the PS3, the PS4 will likely be backwards forward, which means you can play your PS3 games on the PS4.

Some of the most exciting parts of the PS4 have yet to be realized as game designers adopt the new mentality of no longer being tied to a controller. New lifelike games will likely immerge as game designers get use to being able to use the full body moments of players.  This also means that educational and scientific games will become far more popular then they are today.
